Pneumatic Safety Crimping Machine
The CT 35 was designed with safety and productivity in mind. It's ideal for loose-piece crimping applications such as coaxial cable termination or for wire connectors up to 6 AWG.
The CT 35 features a patented, hands-free, pneumatic pre-close feature for maximum throughput with improved safety. This allows the operator to efficiently and safely close the crimp dies on the terminal to confirm that the terminal is positioned properly before crimping.
For additional safety, the CT 35 will not actuate if the dies are opened more than 0.250" (6.4 mm). The pre-close feature is controlled with a unique dual foot pedal so throughput is maximized. The pre-close pressure is adjustable to ensure that there is enough pressure to hold even the large terminals in place but not too much to crimp small terminals prematurely.
Interchangeable Dies
Schleuniger's unique dies are heat treated and nickel plated steel and are designed to be used with all products in this crimping system. As no adjustment is required when changing the dies, set up is quick. Schleuniger manufactures dies for the most common terminals. In addition, custom dies can be manufactured to meet your specific application requirements. We also offer blank dies for applications where the user prefers to machine the crimp nest(s).
Terminal Locator Device
The terminal locator device is comprised of a slide and locator that can be used on all Schleuniger crimping products except the CT 10 hand tool. It is specifically designed to position the terminal correctly every time. This guarantees a consistent quality crimp, time after time. Different locators are available to hold the specific terminal to be crimped. The locator is fastened to the slide device facilitating the exact positioning of the terminal.
