User-Friendly

• The What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) screen display reduces operator training times and ensures quality control.
  
  
• Predefined cable ends for many cable types and applications, including single and multi-conductor cables, coaxial cables, power cord, POF and zipcord cables, are pre-programmed.
  
  
• Software assistants execute many routine jobs automatically.
  
  
• Libraries simplify cable entry and help reduce errors. A raw material is only entered once and is then used for any desired cable. If the raw material specifications change, every cable assembly processed from this same raw material is updated accordingly.
  

Flexible

• The versatile step operation permits the entry of complex cables.
  
  
• Cayman controls an inkjet marker to apply prints up to 180 characters long. Text phrases such as cable numbers, batch numbers, actual date, etc. are also programmable. This helps identification and traceability for quality management.
  
  
• The production process can be fully controlled and monitored in various ways: customized messages, user comments, control of pre- and post- accessories, free choice of production orders and cable quantities.
  
  
• Multiple cables for a harness can be set-up in a wire list and processed without intermediate waste pieces, thus providing significant cost reduction.
  

Open Architecture

• Cable data from other programs (e.g. CAD, ASCII) can be imported as text data. This enables a transfer of existing data and eliminates duplicate data entries.
  
  
• A software interface (with Microsoft® COM-Interface) allows a connection from Cayman to other programs. Digital information can be sent directly to the cut & strip machine. Even the production can be started and traced this way. Cayman can also be connected through this interface to your company's ERP software (e.g. SAP®).
