Programmable Coaxial Cable Stripping Machine
The CoaxStrip 5500 is a semi-automatic, programmable stripper designed to perform both single and multiple stage strips. Its processing capabilities make the CoaxStrip 5500 a perfect match for a wide range of wires and cables such as coaxial and multi-conductor cables - even with very thin and tough or slightly out-of-round insulations - with a maximum outside diameter of 0.59'' (15 mm) at a maximum stripping length of 3.35" (85 mm).
Precision mechanics, combined with state-of-the-art electronics, a user-friendly display and included PC software create an easy to use platform which offers maximum efficiency. This machine is ideal for low volume, quick changeover applications as well as high volume production runs, giving the best possible flexibility and productivity to your production methods.

The unique stripping head design combines universal stripping blades with a universal centering system. This allows the CoaxStrip 5500 to process the entire range of cable types and diameters with no blade change whatsoever. The patented stripping head is precision-built to guarantee unparalleled stripping quality and repeatable results.
High Performance & User-Friendliness
Short cycle times and wire list processing ensure high performance and will yield you a quick return on investment. To guarantee short operator training times, the CoaxStrip 5500 can be programmed intuitively with a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Its high-resolution monochrome display allows the user to view a schematic diagram of the cable end, complete with programmed dimensions.
In order to make handling of different wire lists even easier, the Iguana PC software is included in the scope of delivery. Using Iguana, all data can be backed up conveniently on a regular PC.
The Schleuniger design approach to combine high precision, high performance and user-friendliness in all our machines, has been fully incorporated into the CoaxStrip 5500. If you already have other new generation Schleuniger machines, you and your operators will find it very convenient that software handling of the machines always follows the same principle.
