SmartStrip™ Technology
SmartStrip™ is an option available for the programmable wire & cable stripping machine UniStrip 2600. This new technology allows operators to strip different wire and cable from approximately 24 - 10 AWG (0.25 to 6 mm²) without any programming or changeovers.
This comes in very handy for customers who use different wire or cable sizes and need to alternate quickly between different sizes.

How Does SmartStrip™ Work?
SmartStrip™ uses one or more wire libraries that can easily be created using the automatic diameter detection function. Processing parameters such as stripping length, pull-off length, clamping force and speed can be set individually for each wire.
A sensor which is integrated in the clamping jaws of the UniStrip 2600 stripping machine measures the outer diameter of each wire. Conductor diameter and other machine parameters are automatically calculated – making operator mistakes a thing of the past. Wires with different diameters ranging from AWG 24(0.25 mm²) up to AWG 10 (6 mm²) can be processed in random order without any programming or changeovers. Processing “wrong” wires is simply not possible, because wires that are not listed in the wire library can’t be produced.
