Rob Boyd, Crimping Product Manager, will be presenting "Crimp Quality Verification using Micrographs" on Wednesday, September 23 from 9:50 A.M. - 10:40 A.M.
Traditional methods of verifying crimp quality include visual inspection, crimp height and width measurement, destructive pull testing, and crimp force monitoring. Preparing and examining cross-sections of crimped terminals is an additional crimp quality assurance method that can help to identify defects that other methods may have missed.
