Overview Basic Module Components:
Base Frame with Machine Rack
The working surface (machine rack) is divided into several processing positions. The basic concept consists of 10 processing positions with 140 mm width. Should a processing machine require more space, additional positions will have to be allocated for that particular machine.
Transfer Unit / Transfer Carriage
The transfer chain is the central element of the TransferModule 6000. Depending on processing requirements, the transfer chain can be equipped with different kinds of transport carriers.

Transport on 3 axis |
The transport carriers differentiate from each other by the degree of freedom in their precision movements onto and towards the processing stations. Thus allowing coaxial, sensor, airbag, ABS, FFC, POF as well as multi-conductor cables to be processed in a wide range of diameters and lengths.
Cable Loading Station (Automatic / Manual Loading)
The loading station transfers the measured and cut cable from the cut and strip machine and deposits it defined and precisely in a transport carrier. As an alternative to automatic loading, manual loading is possible, too. Manual loading is mainly applied where preprocessing cannot be carried out on a cut and strip machine.

Cable Unloading Station
In the cable unloading station, the cables are accurately unloaded and deposited from the transport carriers. Simple or complex depositing systems with batch quantity or good / bad sorting are available.

Operating System
Operation and programming are carried out directly on the machine or on a PC/LAN: Each processing module is equipped with its own control in which the processing parameters are fed. A superset SPS control coordinates the functional process.

Cayman – Cut & Strip Machine Control
If for example a Schleuniger PowerStrip 9500 cut & strip machine is used, the cable can be programmed directly through the professional wire processing software Cayman.
