Minimizing unscheduled machine downtime is the most important goal for our service organization. Our service locations are certified and all engineers are trained by the manufacturer to help you with machine problems and questions in over 60 countries worldwide. With our FIVE STEP repair program we assure fast, cost-effective support.

STEP 1

Documentation & Self-Service

Every mechanical machine needs regular care and maintenance. Basic issues can be fixed most efficiently without external help. Schleuniger offers detailed documents on how to operate machines in the operating manual. Most troubleshooting questions are covered in the FAQ section online, and manuals explain the necessary maintenance activities. Although we assure high spare part availability and fast delivery, we recommend stocking a Maintenance Kit close to the machine, including the most important wearable items.

STEP 2

Hotline & Email Support

Highly trained and experienced engineers assist you with machine problems in your local language on the service hotline. Simply submit your technical question online or contact your service representative directly via email or phone. Schleuniger service locations worldwide have access to a detailed troubleshooting and ticketing database to provide professional help as soon as possible. Where applicable, Schleuniger offers Remote Service – facility support directly on your server.

STEP 3

In-House Repair Service

Defective machines or parts can also be sent to Schleuniger service locations all over the world. Simply fill out a “Return Material Authorization” form online. To ensure your machine will be returned to you as quickly as possible, consider using our Call Ahead Service to book the next available slot in the repair list. When you send in your machine it will be serviced immediately.

STEP 4

On-Site Repair Service

If shipping is not possible, our professional engineers repair your equipment directly at your plant. Schleuniger on-site service is efficient, convenient and customer friendly. To make sure the right parts are available at all times, ask your representative for a Maintenance Kit.

STEP 5

Premium Service

In urgent cases, our service engineers can move your equipment to the front of the repair queue to ensure that your machine is sent back as soon as possible. During standard or extended warranty periods this in-house service is free of charge. After warranty has expired, priority treatment is available at a surcharge on labor rates. The Premium rate also applies to on-site labor outside of business hours.
