The control cabinet is the heart of every CrimpCenter model. Although designed with robust components and for standard temperature tolerances, Schleuniger recommends to have your machine fitted with the optional cooling unit as of 35°C (95°F) outside temperature.
The processors and electric components of the control cabinet produce a lot of heat themselves and inside temperatures may reach critical levels if high outside temperatures are adding to the equation. The cooling unit ensures consistent temperature levels at all times, providing for optimum performance of all components and reducing stress on heat-sensitive parts.
