PreFeeder 4200
The PreFeeder 4200 is a free-standing capstan drive prefeeding machine designed to pull wire and cable up to 1.0" (25 mm) in diameter from reels weighing up to 400 lbs. (182 kg). The speed of the PreFeeder 4200 is controlled by the position of the cable loop dancer.
The PreFeeder 4200 provides a constant supply of cable to downstream automatic wire processing machines such as automatic cutting machines or automatic cut and strip machines.
This powerful prefeeder can pull cable directly from reels on wire racks or from the optional Reel Lifter / Stand.
Reel Lifter / Stand
The Reel Lifter / Stand is an optional reel loading and lifting accessory that can be integrated with the PreFeeder 4200 to provide a complete heavy-duty cable prefeeding system.
The operator inserts the shaft through the reel and rolls the reel into position. Optional centering cones are available for centering the shaft in larger reel center holes. The operator turns a manual lead screw crank to easily lift the reel slightly above the floor, allowing it to rotate freely.
